Por primera vez en sus diez años de existencia, FOX estrenará una serie en rigurosa primicia mundial, antes incluso de su emisión en Estados Unidos. Se trata de El cuerpo del delito (Body of Proof), serie que tiene previsto su aterrizaje en la cadena norteamericana ABC en primavera.
El estreno se producirá en versión doblada –condición sinecuanon para que pueda producirse sin que afecte la posterior emisión en Estados Unidos- y será más o menos simultáneo en otros países de Europa, como Italia y Polonia, también a través de los canales de FOX. El cuerpo del delito estará en la antena de FOX los viernes, a las 22.50 horas, a partir del 18 de febrero.
Producida por Disney, El cuerpo del delito nos devuelve a los dramas médicos ambientados en grandes hospitales, aunque en esta ocasión lo hace con un giro muy especial, uniendo las tramas médicas con una investigación de corte policíaco. Todo ello gracias a su poco convencional protagonista: la doctora Megan Hunt, una neurocirujana de prestigio, cuyo mundo personal y profesional se vendrá abajo tras un accidente de coche y deberá emprender un nuevo camino como forense.
El cuerpo del delito gira en torno a la veteranía de la actriz Dana Delany. Su impecable trayectoria ante la cámara no sólo en series, sino también en cine, han hecho de ella una actriz consolidada que ha visto catapultada su fama en los últimos años gracias a al personaje de Katherine Mayfair, la vecina llena de secretos que se incorporó al vecindario de Wisteria Lane en 2004, que le ha dado fama mundial.
