Deadline cuenta en exclusiva que Naomi Watts está en negociaciones para protagonizar Holland, Michigan, el segundo largo de ficción de Errol Morris tras Tempestad en la llanura (1991). El afamado documentalista (ganador de un Oscar gracias a Rumores de guerra [2003]) parte de un guión de Andrew Sodroski descrito como un thriller suburbano en clave de humor negro. En el film la australiana es una mujer que comienza a sospechar que su marido es un asesino en serie.

 

 

Por otra parte, también vía Deadline desde el Festival de Toronto, leemos que Watts ha abandonado Queen of the Desert, el proyecto de Werner Herzog sobre la exploradora británica Gertrude Bell. Su sustituta podría ser Nicole Kidman, que estaría en negociaciones para hacerse con el papel.

 

Esta es la segunda salida del proyecto, tras confirmarse el pasado abril que Jude Law también se había caído y que James Franco ocuparía su lugar.
