La serie Disney-Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. es, sin duda alguna, uno de los estrenos más esperados para la temporada 2013-2014. Tanto es así que Fox International Channels (que engloba a canales privados como Fox y Fox Crime) se ha apresurado a comprar sus derechos para la emisión en España. El acuerdo alcanzado entre Fox y Disney España y Portugal también significará la llegada a la plataforma digital de otros estrenos tales como el thriller de acción Intelligence, los dramas Killer Woman y Lucky 7, la comedia Trophy Wife o la producción familiar Twisted.

Por otra parte, según puede leerse en Collider, la rama norteamericana de la compañía se ha hecho con los derechos de la obra de Alan Moore La Liga de los Hombres Extraordinarios para adaptarla al formato televisivo en una serie que buscaría competir, precisamente, con el serial producido por Joss Whedon.

 

La propia cadena describe el producto (del que aún se desconoce una fecha exacta de estreno) como «una serie dramática basada en la aclamada novela gráfica de Alan Moore acerca de un grupo de personajes literarios Victorianos, incluyendo al capitán Nemo, el Hombre Invisible y Dr. Jeckyll y Mr. Hyde, que han de unirse para combatir a un enemigo común«.
