El film de Abdelatif Kechiche La vie d’Adèle ha cumplido las expectativas alzándose con la Palma de Oro superando a las otras dos candidatas por parte de la prensa especializada: Like Father, Like Son, de Hirokazu Kore-eda (Premio especial del jurado) y The Past, de Asghar Farhadi.

 

El jurado presidido por Steven Spielberg también ha decidido premiar en esta edición del Festival de Cannes a Bérénice Bejo por su papel en The Past y a Bruce Dern, protagonista de Nebraska. El galardón a mejor director ha ido a parar al mexicano Amat Escalante por Heli, mientras que el Grand Prix tiene sabor norteamericano gracias a Inside Llewelyn Davies, de los hermanos Coen.
