Bad Robot, la productora de J.J. Abrams, tiene un nuevo proyecto sobre la mesa, The Cellar (antes llamado Valencia), y confirmado tanto el director, el debutante Dan Trachtenberg, como el guion, firmado por Dan Casey a partir de una primera versión de Josh Campbell y Matthew Stecken, es el momento de perfilar el reparto.

 

Con John Goodman ya cerrado, Variety informa de que Mary Elizabeth Winstead esttá en negociaciones para sumarse al proyecto. Con un presupuesto estimado de cinco millones de dólares, la película presenta a una mujer (Winstead) que despierta en una bodega tras un accidente de coche. Con ella hay un hombre que afirma haberla rescatado de un ataque químico que ha convertido el mundo exterior en un entorno inhabitable. Solo con su palabra ella no sabe qué creer e inevitablemente las tensiones aumentan.
